What is consignment?
Consignment is a partnership between a consignor and a consignee (Le Bouton Boutique). In this context, the consignor agrees to hand over their apparel for sale at Le Bouton Boutique. As the consignor, he/she retains ownership of the apparel during the consignment period. When the apparel is sold, Le Bouton Boutique pays the consignor 50% of the selling price.
How do I consign with Le Bouton Boutique?
Review our Consignment Policy. Then, complete the Form for Consignment Inquiries.
From there, we will either schedule a convenient time for us to meet and to review your apparel for consignment, provided you live within 25 miles of the Collegeville, PA area.
Or, where a meeting is not possible because you do not live in or nearby the Collegeville, PA area, send us a list of the apparel you wish to consign. Include information about the items such as designer (brand), gender, size, description (dress, top, bottom, etc.) along with any other pertinent information that would help us decide whether or not to accept your apparel for consignment. After we review your list and approve items for consignment, you will receive instructions on how to ship your apparel to our boutique.
Why should I register?
Registration on our website is completely voluntary and is not required to make a purchase. However, registration does provide you with easy access for future use so that you do not have to re-enter your information when a form is completed. Information like your name, address, and email are automatically populated in the required fields.
Additionally, registration will add your contact information to our database so that you can receive electronic communications on upcoming special offers and promotions.
How do I determine the correct size for my Little One?
Even though sizing methods are very similar, each designer and brand may have their own sizing charts. Le Bouton Boutique will list the size of each item according to the manufacturer's tag. When deciding on the correct size for your little one, keep in mind that some nearly-new, gently-used clothing may have been altered by laundering. Since many items listed in our boutique are pre-owned, Le Bouton Boutique is not responsible for alterations that may have resulted from prior ownership.
